February 2007 AudioClipping enables MetaGer to open up a
new medium.
With immediate effect, the meta search engine of the university of Hanover has access to the search results of AudioClipping. This means that, for the first time, a totally different medium has been integrated into a search system previously based on text. The AudioClipping technology of Com Vision finds the spoken word within large quantities of audio data e.g. in radio or television programmes or archives. In addition to its function as a source of knowledge, online search has now also become an overall monitoring instrument for PR, press and marketing experts and for all those who wish to have up-to-date knowledge on what has been said about them, where and when.

December 2006 The Broadcasting Center Europe and Com Vision are now working together.
The leading European media service provider, Broadcasting Center Europe (BCE), and Com Vision have entered an agreement to cooperate. The agreement serves to promote reciprocal business activities in the field of search technology for audio data. The Luxemburg BCE offers all enterprises in the RTL group a complete technical service for media and telecommunication companies including the digitalisation and archiving of audio and film material. With the AudioClipping Solution from Com Vision, terms can be located in audio data both easily and rapidly. Media archiving procedures, for example, are thus optimised and a basis created for cost savings and new business models.
